Ist Blogiversary, Americana Give Away!

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
My First Blogiversary~
Americana Give Away!

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Hello Blogging Buddies, I want
to celebrate my blog anniversary, by
giving away some Americana things!
I love patriotic things and I have a bed
room decorated in the red, white and
blue.....So, I thought I would give away
Americana items for someone to decorate
with, for the 4th of July....So, are you
ready to see what some lucky winner
will receive?

You will receive the patriotic items
in front of the stack boxes and the
set of stack boxes, also.

A closer view of the stack boxes....
I painted these and then I put an acrylic
stain.

This patriotic pin cushion on a zinc
fruit jar lid....

These patriotic star cookie cutters...

This metal star and flag ring...

Also, this little Uncle Sam, shelf sitter...

Between now and the drawing, there
might just be more added to the box!

There are just a few rules....

I am sorry, but this is only open to
residents of the USA.  Not many
would want these Americana things,
in other countries, but I thought I had
better mention that.

I would like to thank my followers for
hanging in there with me and also, a
big Welcome, to my new followers, that
have signed on recently.

  2. My memory of the 4th is a little bit scary.I guess the one that stands out most was when I was about 8,my cousin Brad blew a cherry bomb up in his hand and we sat hours in the ER.We got yelled at by my dad the whole night.

  3. Hi Karen,
Congrats on your 1 year of blogging, don't you just love it? I'm a follower and I'm putting your giveaway on my blog. Well my 4th of July memories are great, my favorite is that they always had a flour dig, flour was poured into a large wash tub and rolls of quarters were put in, we (the kids) went digging for money, that was how I always got my cotton candy on the 4th, and our town had some of the best fireworks in the state of Indiana. Always popped popcorn to eat while we watched. They are great memories. Thanks for offering such a great giveaway. Have a great evening.
    Blessings,
    ~Ronda~

  5. Hi Karen,

I just posted about your giveaway on my sidebar and am a follower.

I love all your Americana goodies and you did a great job on those boxes!

Usually my family just does a little cookout on the 4th of July, then later in the evening we all go to see the fireworks, which are put on behind a local amusement park. We take snacks and drinks and try to get there early, as it's always crowded! The 4th is one of my favorite holidays!

    Thanks so much.

  8. What a great giveaway! Just love all things Americana and patriotic! I'm a follower and will post this in my sidebar. My favorite (or least most memorable) 4th was when I was a little girl and visiting my brother and SIL in Chicago. They lived on the third floor near Midway Airport. I remember sitting on the balcony and looking across the airport to see fireworks going off in every direction. Big doings for a small town girl back then! LOL! ~~Annie

  12. Hi Karen! Love what you are offering in this wonderful giveaway! You know I am a follower and will definitely post this on my sidebar for you. I guess my fav 4th of July would have to be last year. It was the first one after I married my sweetie and we shared it together in the Great Smoky Mountains watching the beautiful fireworks. There was one in particular that was shaped like a heart when it burst in the sky ~ I like to think that it was specially made by God just for us!
    Hugs,
    Donna

  14. Hello Karen, love your blog! Sign me up girlie your giveaway is fantastic! Oh, and I will post your giveaway on my sidebar. Well, my most favorite memory of the fourth would have to be when we were stationed in England. LOL. We set up some really loud fireworks. Let's just say the locals were not pleased. But we had to celebrate our independence from them right?!

  16. Happy Blogiversary Karen! I have been a follower for a while and have to tell you I always love seeing what you have to show us and would love to be entered into your giveaway. The boxes turned out fantastic!

My favorite memory of the fourth of July is when my kids were younger and we would spend it with the entire family, cooking out, playing games and then spreading out the blanket and watching the fireworks. Things seemed so much simpler those days..... :)
