Good Evening...
I took some pictures of some old
cars in Texas, on the way
cars in Texas, on the way
back home.....My hubby said these
are Metropolitans...They remind me
of the old Nash Rambler,

of the old Nash Rambler,
that my sister had, once...They
are out in a field with several horses.
You never know what you will find in
Texas!
I have a few things to show you, that
I got, recently...
I bought this huge rolling pin in an
antique mall on the way back, on
Monday. I put a regular sized one
with it, so you can see just how big it
is! If you read my last post, you know
that my hubby wanted to know if I
was going to use it on him!
I found this old ammo box at the flea
market....You know I am collecting old
boxes ;)
I got the cornucopia at GW and I got the
gingerbread doll at the same flea
market, that I got the box at, but a few
weeks ago. I have more things, but I
forgot to include them in the pictures.
Be watching for some make overs, I have
several things that I want to get painted. It
looks like it is going to be nice, tomorrow,
so I better get at it! Also, be watching for
a give away! I haven't decided what it will
be, yet.....hmmmm...It might be a
combination of things, cloth, wood,
Christmas or Winter,
handmade, or made over....But, I
will be showing you, in the next couple
weeks and telling you how you can win!
Maybe, we will play Bingo...Maybe, I will
wait until I get to 200 followers, I am
getting close!

Love the Metropolitans! My MIL had a Ramblers with the lay-down front seat. It was so awesome. Thanks for the memory!

ReplyDeleteHey Karen, my sister's first car was a Rambler, gosh that was a long time ago.8-) You are right about Texas......mine and Hubby's first car, a 1967 Galaxy, sits in a sheep lot in back of the house. Along with other old farm pick-ups. Something about farmers not being able to throw anything away. 8-)
ReplyDeleteI love the rolling pin and old box, I collect both of those things too.
Hugs,
Lorna
My husband is a "car guy" so when I showed him your photo I had to hear him gush a whole lot of car stuff...I love my goofy car guy.I don't know a blessed thing about cars.I've never even had a driver's license. But your blog entry provided us with a "moment"! :)
