The time is sure flying by! I hope you
all are staying cool in this heat! I have
been working on a couple of projects
that I am hooking, but I will show you
pictures of that, later on.
We have had to go to our house
in Texas to work on cleaning up the
trees that we had cut. We had most
of the brush done and we still had
the tree trunks to burn. We found
another dead tree on the half acre,
with the house, that makes 12 trees
dead on the half acre and there are
a lot of dead ones on the acre behind.
I took some pictures on the way back
and I thought I would share with you
some of them.
I have found some treasures, that
I will share with you all, soon.
I would also like to thank you all
for the wonderful comments
on my patriotic decorating, outside.
I did intend on decorating on the
inside, but that never happened.
Until next time.....
Bear Hugs & Blessings~Karen
You did better than I did...I didn't get the inside or outside decorated!!!

Hi Karen. Lovely photos and they are making me homesick. I love driving through and seeing all sorts of wonderful old barns and houses. My grandparents have had to do the same thing with their trees, they just all died on their property. Enjoy your home in Texas!

love those buildings..they are wonderful..that is alot of dead trees..do you use the trees for a wood stove? do you have a wood stove? and do you stay in that house when you are there? or do you rent it?
ReplyDeleteOh boy, that's hard work, tree removal. We've got a few to take the chainsaw to ourselves, but it's so doggone hot.
ReplyDeleteI love the big ole signs that folk hang on their out buildings and barns. Need to make some for our building too :)
