Adding More To The Yard

Good Afternoon, friends! I hope
you all are having a great week...
I remembered my Uncle Sam
and my rusty flag, so I put them
out front with the rest of my
Americana things.

I like Uncle Sam up on the
top, the cloth flag just didn't
seem right.

The flag doesn't show up very
well on the brick, I probably
should have painted it, but I
I bet my prim friends like it
the way it is. ;)

  9. Love all your pics!! You have a lovely blog. Thanks for stopping by my blog also. I have been eating some of the blue berries and freezing most of them.. gave Sandy and her hubby a lot of them when they were here a couple weeks ago, gave my sister and her hubby a lot of them also when they were down last week and then I have also given my daughter bags of them. Have several quart bags in the freezer full. There are still pounds and pounds out there left to be picked as they continue to ripen. Never had blueberry pie b/f but it is sounding like a good idea. I just don't need a pie though cause I live alone and a whole pie is just too much. Got any ideas what I could make with them or use them in?? Of all the years I have lived here I have never picked them b/f. My neighbors mother who lives a few houses down has come over here and taken them all every year w/o asking or anything just b/c she has done it all the years this house had sat empty b/f I moved in about 5 years ago but I finally put a stop to it this year. Sure wish we could send you some of our rain!! Hope the temps cool off, the heat is so miserable. Give me cold over hot any day! Our temps are due to rise to 100 mark by end of week and this tropical storm Debbie moves on out. Not looking forward to that at all. Have a Blessed week and praying you wil have cooler, wetter weather!

  12. I know I commented on your facebook pictures but I'm going to comment here again. =] I love it all Karen! My favorite summer decorations are flags, I just love when people go all out like you with the red, white, and blue. Looks fantastic girl!

With these 100 degree days we are having, July 21 is not looking too good. =[ But we WILL get together for sure sometime this year!
